I'm not entirely sure why we had to go through this extra, menu-base step to grab items, but there you go. Blades of Chaos, in particular, come with some excellent unlockable skills down at bottom. After that, you can just have Dwarves finish job. When you get items, you can go trade them into Dwarves under buy tab for final Frozen Flame and Chaos Flame. In Niflheim, you're looking for chilling Mist, find in Golden Chests in the central area that take 5000 Mist echoes to unlock. In Muspelheim, you're looking for the raging Inferno of Muspelheim, which you find from enemy on top of the volcano. You're not looking for Chaos Flame or Frozen Flame in either of these places. Here's trick, though, and why these things are easy to miss. As you might have guess, you can grab them in optional areas unlocked through ciphers found throughout the game: Muspelheim and Niflheim. The last two are not, and you can easily finish the game without finding them. Most of these are awarded by facing down boss encounters, and they're impossible to miss as a result. They're upgraded with Chaos Flames, just like Leviathan Axe is upgraded with Frozen Flames. If you've played long enough into the game, you've unlocked Kratos' second-or arguably his first-weapon, Blades of Chaos that we all remember from Greek-focus earlier games. Final upgrade items, however-Frozen Flame and another, secret item to be revealed below spoiler warning-are not that hard to come by but easily miss. And if you're going to do that, you're going to want to upgrade your weapons as far as they'll go.
